300 Germain

Currently on our ‘drawing boards’, 300 Germain is Acre’s first foray into high density housing in Saint John. What better street in which to design a project that will capture the creative energy of the local community than beautiful Germain Street? A five-storey building with a full level of covered parking at its base, each individual unit was designed to integrate the site’s heroic harbor views with layouts that incorporate two stories, east and west cross ventilation, and generous exterior verandahs. While the spirit of the project embraces the future in its form, composition and detailing, in tribute to the nearby industry that originally shaped Saint John, the exterior cladding is a nod to this robust architectural past through materials of brick & rough metal.
