Designed as the new HQ for a popular New Brunswick apple orchard, a small cider house and shed is the working side of the building, connected alongside a painstakingly crafted minimalist residence for the owners and their growing family.
The extensively glazed riverside house frames two breathtaking views: to the east sits the lush orchard rising up a steep hill, while a stunning view of the Saint John River lies to the West. Tinker’s also aims to exceed energy standards while not sacrificing high design in a somewhat unlikely place.
As the local food movement grows, Tinker’s Orchard is a celebration to the quality and commitment of local ventures and the beauty of rural New Brunswick. Here you’ll find twenty varieties of apples, some pears, cherries and a plum tree.
